It's when those people don't acknowledge where they began their careers by giving back to the many communities that would difinitely benefit from their generosity. Diana Ross has immense talent always has, but like Billy Dee Williams said In the movie Mohogany, success is nothing without someone to share it with and I have yet to hear of her sharing it with Detroit, her hometown. I could be wrong maybe she anoynomously gives to the city, but I think news such as that would somehow leak to the public and considering her public personality, it would be something she would want people to know. Detroit could always use help in any form or fashion, but now it's a dire need and someone who has benefited from the city should think what can I do for a place that played a major role in my success.
