Here just a short overview how we became fans of Miss Ross...
Andreas’s About me !!!!!!!!!!
I am a fan since the late ‘ 70 i can hardly remember when excactly i was hit by the Ross Virus but all i can say is , once affected by that virus you will always be affected and there is no heal for this, thanks God !!
I remember when i got my very first Diana Ross Record LP’ ( the good ole time ) which was Diana & Marvin as a gift from my Aunt, it hits me right on my head and i was just blewn away. Since that time i called myself as a fan . I blame it on my Aunt :-)
Here just a little Story,i remember when my Uncle and Aun’t had to leave Germany to go back to Colorado Springs, CO (my Uncle was at that time in the Military around the early ‘ 80 based in Colorado Springs ) My Aun’t called me one Night to tell me that Miss Ross is performing in Denver or COS (Colorado Springs ) she asked me to come over to join them to go to the Concert ....well i was to young to fly all by myself ( my parents decission ...anyway, time went by my Aunt and Uncle went to the Concert and right after the concert my aunt called me in the middle of the Night to tell me how the performance was and that you were able to smell Miss Ross from off Stage ....i was so jalous and almost hated them because of telling me that ...i wish i was there ....it was so funny because they were trying to tell me all the little details of that night ...see its not only me in that family who were affected by the DR Syndrome
My very first concert was in ‘80 or ‘81 , my parents drove me all the way to Frankfurt and Munich to see Miss Ross since i was still young not able to drive on my own ( i was only 2 when..) ..thanks god for my parents , they brought me to the Concert and waited til the very end of the Concert . I think they almost went nuts because of driving me back and forth to the Concerts.
Well what can i say , time went by so quickly looking back to the ’80 which still seems to be yesterday , beein a Die Hard Fan for such a long time ( I wouldn't change a thing..)
So let me tell you about my favorite Diana Songs ( Miss Ross asked me in 2008 on a flight to Manchester “ what are your favorite Songs “ My answer was ...well there are so many songs to mention , i love almost all of them , too many to mention them right out of my head !
But my very very favorite is whatever reason “Take me higher” , whenever i hear that song i have to move “ Wonder why ?! i dont know , this song just goes in and makes me move of yourse i love the early days “ Supremes Medly “ who doesn’t love them. I personally love the RCA years much as well as the later and earlier Songs. RCA was a special period in my personal life , so lot of these songs have a special meaning to me. As Miss Ross always confirmes, there ups and downs but there is always a light by the end of a tunnel , these Songs are lifting me up.
I remember in ‘ 82 right after Central Park ( which was not broadcasted LIVE in Germany , i went to club called “ Airport “ they had a big Airplane inside the Club very cool thing , anyway inside that Aircraft they had a real compartement like in coach class with seats and Aisle and TV Monitors on the Ceiling, cool done , when i got there the Club was totally packed, crowded.
So after a while i heard thru an loudspeaker something like “ If you need me , call me ....and it came right into my head this must be Miss Ross , whitin seconds the Dancfloor and club was almost empty so everyone tried to crap a seat in that Aircraft and they all watched Miss Ross in Central Park ..they almost went wild when they saw the Rain coming down ....and i thought to myself Miss Ross you are just great , no words to descripe that moment i felt when i saw all those peoples around me “ hearing them ...woow how can she do do that with all that Rain ...others said hopefully she didnt get sick from all the rain ...and i just thought , Miss Ross you better leave the stage and go home ...before you get an electrical impact.
Here some Highlights when i met Miss Ross ( we met Miss Ross )
But let me tell you about we ..we means Carolin and myself , we are travelling together since 2005
to almost every concert . We met via the Internet i am not sure how , but i think we met because of the Rotterdam Concert 2004 ! Since that we are very close Friends , Die Hard Fans ......
We are always get asked from other fans “ are you both a couple “ ??? NO we are not , we are just very close friends , with the same passion and the same D.R. Syndrome ....but we are having such a blast together while we are on tour with Miss Ross .
Miss Ross asked Carolin in 2007 where is your Companion ( HERE ) for more on that !! So Miss Ross knows about our friendship . Well i said to Miss Ross , its really cool to come to the Concerts because of course of Miss Ross and we are able to meet so many other fans from around the world.
We had so much fun during the Tours with other fans .....thinking of Australia , South Africa and of course my friends in the USA and Europe .

And there is a special friend in the US East Coast ...i like to dedicate some words here , you are the best and thanks for having you as a great friend! Albert T. .....
Moments :
Oslo 2008 , Miss Ross came over and called me to the Edge of the Stage , she gave me the microphone to sing with her to “Reach out and Touch “ ...it was not showing on that Video or TV ( maybe it was better not to see this part on TV
Orange County December 2008, Miss Ross came over to me and called to the Stage , she bend over the Stage and she huged me lots .

In Berlin ( 2005) Miss Ross called us up the Stage to dance with Miss Ross
Antwerp 2004 , Miss Ross asked me to help her down the stairs to walk thru the Aisles and on her way back she asked me again ...of course i helped her ....very funny moment , she first went up on stage and came back down the stairs to say “Thank You” I Love You and huged me lots !
I met Miss Ross in Phoenix 2004 , before the show , she got out of her limosine and came straight over to me ..we talked had a nice conversation and she signed a poster ...at that time i just had a pencil so she said “ this is just a pencil “ and not a bal–pen ..i just said i know....this was i got in the car ...
Frankfurt 1993 , while doin her final song “ Best Years “ she came over to the side i was seated and gave me the Microphone and said “Sing for me , well i sung and she said You have to learn to sing louder “.....Miss Ross can i get some singing lessons ? While singing for Miss Ross she signed the book “ Secret of a Sparrow !
...so you see there is always something to tell , all these little moments makes it so special and I am very proud to be a Fan of Miss Diana Ross . Three words to Miss Ross “ I LOVE YOU “
Here are some special thanks to my Partner who tolerates my passion for Miss Ross “ I say Miss Ross “ he says , when is she touring and how long are you gone ....
My mom for your love and support , she ‘s travelling with us quite often....
And of course Miss Daisy ...(Carolin ) i call here Daisy and she calls me Julio ...i know we are nuts ... but we are having fun , there will be no day we are not on the phone together and talking about any Ross related news and gossip.

My friends are always asking me , isnt that boring to see all the show of Miss Ross and i say :

What makes her so special :
Even as a Diva , a Superstar she’s still down to earth , and lovely ......
If i had 10 minutes to talk with Miss Ross , what i love to tell or ask her ....:
To be honest , i dont know ....yes there is one thing i would love to ask , even if this might sound as a criticism , i would say please change a part of your show , bring back the older songs and also the RCA years songs back . Please dont get this as criticism against Miss Ross but if she would ask me , a little change to the Show is always good. A clearification about the new CD ( as of today) rumours going around since month and no final answer. Is she recording a new Album or are there any plans for, is there a new Movie in process , since the last one of ABC is still due ....will there be another Tour soon ....
My Goal and Miss Ross :
Invite Miss Ross for tea ... no i am just kidding , but you never know ....Go for your dream *smile*.....
A Cool thing :
While Carolin and me shopping in West Hollywood coming straight from the Airport we saw Miss Ross shopping at a Store , this was the Day before Miss Ross left for Oslo , she got out of the Car and went into a Shop on Sunset Blvd , due to heavy traffic we werent able to stop and had a closer look this was totaly surprising to us , seeing Miss Ross in a car . We all know the pictures from TMZ and the gossip sources ...but this was real.
Carolin just said , look this car looks like mommys car ( btw , we call Miss Ross , Mommy ....mommy first and everything has to work around ....)
When the car got a little closer , we just saw hairs inside the car due to dark windows , and i just said , well it looks like Miss Ross .... well there she was , next to our car in that black car , dont know which brand it was , since i am not familiar with cars and brands , but this was the black Car which we all have seen before on TMZ and other Sources .
But i never thought we would ever see Miss Ross in a car ....never ever..as you can see , she might pass your way!
This was just a little bit of my story how i became a fan and how we grew up with Miss Ross.

Well, I became a Diana Ross fan, or I better should say, I got the Diana Ross Syndrom :-) in the early ’80..
I remember, my brother (he’s 5 years older) used to listen to the LP Diana and the song Upside Down...I loved the song. He prohibited me to use his records , but when he wasn’t home, I went to his room used and played the Diana Ross LP . When I grew up I started to buy all her records and later cd’s.
My first concert was 2002 in Bonn. I wasn’t able to go to concerts before that date.
I saw a little advertising from the concert in Bonn. Immediately, I bought a ticket for the concert. I started early in the morning at the day of the concert, to drive to Bonn (3,5h drive). It was an open air concert and I wanted to be in the front. So I was there at 11am and I was the only one there:-) . When they opened the doors in the evening I was lucky being in the front. And there she was !!!! I will NEVER forget this moment. Her voice, her look, the way she acted with the audience and the way she acted and sang with me...From this time I was blown away....All I wanted was seeing her again in concert. The next time was Rotterdam and Wembley. Rotterdam was the concert when Andreas and me got in contact. After we’ve got in contact, we’ve traveled almost together to almost every Diana Ross concert all over the world. So we were called the world travellers....
As Andreas mentioned, we’ve been to Australia, South Africa, USA and Europe and looking forward what else will come!!!!!
We were almost in the front row and believe me, that was hard work !!!!
But we had such great moments with Miss Ross. For me, moments I will never forget were: Berlin when she called me on stage to dance with her to Upside down.

Of course our flights with her, especially the one from London to Manchester last year, when she asked us if we want to come over for the Hollywood Bowl concerts. At this time we didn’t have any tickets and flights (concert was 1 week later). Miss Ross said: You’ll get tickets from me !!!! We were blown away !!! When we got out of the plane we kept talking all the way thru the airport . She asked us some questions like: what are your favorite songs and some more...
While we kept on walking, I forgot to pick up my luggage from the baggage claim area :-) :-) :-). Thanks Ruth for taking my luggage...
And Oslo when she came over and did Stop in the name of Love with us...

I have a lot more memories and moments that I’ll never forget and really looking forward getting more of these moments...
We met a lot of fans who became friends !!!!
Andreas already mentioned them, but I want to thank Ruth & Helen and Judy-Ann for giving me (us) such great moments.
This girls are “crazy”as we are....You know: THERE’S NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH TO KEEPS US FROM YOU MISS ROSS !!!!!
And I don’t want to forget Gregg,Tom, Demarcio, my “little brother” Dustin, Steve and Bernard.
We are the little Ross family...
I also want to thank Gerry, Kevin, CC, George, Valerie, Fred, Lisa, Albert, Steve and Mike D. You giving us always a great time...
And also Leone and Ilona :-) . Looking forward seeing you all again.
But there is a special person who became a very close friend !!!! This is Andreas aka as JULIO.... I’m really happy and thankful having him. Travelling with him makes such a fun and we are a great team .....
And BTW we can really talk about other things than Miss Ross :-) :-) :-) ....
And of course I want to thank MISS ROSS, for giving me such great moments and the best years of my life !!!!
We are very lucky and happy being able living our Diana Ross Passion....That means thanks to all people who understands (or not :-)) our passion and making things happens...
We go for our dreams...
You never know what happens and maybe, Miss Ross invites us the next time we are in L.A. to tea and cookies :-).
I hope, we’ll have a lot more chances to see Miss Ross again wherever it’ll be....
